Even though my oldest son won't be at our Thanksgiving table this year (off in Texas) I am warmed by the thought of him hosting a dinner for 8 of his friends. Many memories of years passed and cooking with him in the kitchen - now a new memory of him cooking his own 30 pound turkey! New joys!
Claire, Happy Thanksgiving!! I am so enjoying your imaginary trip to France. You've documented it far better in your sketches than I ever did when I was physically there! France is one of my favorite countries and Paris is one of my special cities.
