Another view of the Arc de Triomphe

I've enjoyed sketching the Arc de Triomphe several times before... Recently I decided to sketch it again... but this time I decided to do something a little different after I found an interesting photo using GoogleMaps

Very nice Claire. Really like it in the grey tones. My youngest son is trying to get to Paris today to spend a week with a friend. We will see.

Oh my, love the detail here, and like Marthann said, the grey scale really works here.

The grey tones make me think of a misty, cool morning. Very nice.

Claire, you sketches are just fabulous. I think I will spend some time and travel way back into your older posts. It' s all so fresh and fabulous!!!! And I love the way you write. It's beautiful. It looks like you are doing a form of monoline calligraphy. It's beautiful!

Oh, forgot to answer--there is no start date. It is ongoing and work at your own pace.

Hi Claire, I would love to know how you captured the image of the Arc de Triomphe from the Google map Page. I have been enjoying your paintings and here I see that you have actually posted the image. How did you do that? It is so clear too.
