NOLA: Napoleon House

What a delightful dinner in the quaint Napoleon House! I enjoyed reading about the building's storied past while we waited for our dinner. It was a fun place for our group of painting buddies to enjoy dinner and a drink together. Next time I visit NOLA I'll have to go back!

I love the design of this page. Your beautiful handwriting pulls it all together, with the mosaic design and the Pimms Cup drink. Oh, I wish we were back there right now!

Claire-
I love this! The art is beautiful and it looks so festive- surely a wonderful way to remember a fun time!
I have been away from my blog for several months - out of town more than home due to family stuff. Hopeully, soon I will start keeping up with mine and visiting everyone else's. Glad I checked yours out today- this is really a nice sketch.

Kathy and Cheryl - That sure was some adventure. Wish I were back there again now with you!

Lori - You were certainly with me on the adventure in spirit -- as I loved doing my sketches and painting in my "Always follow your heart" watercolor journal that I bought from you.

Sheryl - Thanks for dropping by. I've had a slow period myself with my blog and visiting others but I look forward to getting back in the swing of things. Welcome back!!
