Thinking of Valentine's Day around the corner .... and blooming roses ....

I always think of roses around Valentine's day. But, in the moment ...I'm still busy with my annual rose pruning. None of my rose bushes is blooming at the moment, and as I'm poked by the thorns while I'm pruning - I need to remember that the blooms will come with time and they will each share their beauty. I 'm looking forward the beginning of their blooming season.

Blooms such as this one remind us that some things are worth waiting for!

Lovely, Claire!

Oh, flowers ... We just got another fresh foot of snowfall last night, on top of the more than two feet already on the ground. Oh to see a flower work its way through this wintry blanket :)

Flowers come very late here in Oregon but all the more reason to paint beautiful ones like yours!

Hi Claire. Very nice rose you painted. Leaves are realistic and I like all the colors. Hope your job in the garden is finished.
