I am just loving your trip to France via Journaling. Especially since my son was just there 2 weeks ago.
Great paintings
Think about getting some of your son's photos and painting them. It can be great fun. I've never been to Paris - I've only painted from photos from the Imaginary Trip to Paris, some pictures off of GoogleMaps, and a few from my parents travel album from 1989!! Someday I might get to travel ....
Oh you are on the paris trip! Hope you are having fun. The England trip is great if you haven't been there yet. Love the water flowing from the fountain.

Looking at your paintings is making me nostalgic for the beach class... I'm swamped with writing work and other projects right now, so I have to live vicariously through you!

Oh, this is great, Claire! I feel like I'm about to be splashed upon by the water fountain! Love it.
Claire - are you actually taking the Paris class again? Didn't you take it last fall? Or are you just painting more scenes from Paris? Just curious.
I forgot to say how much I like your sketches!

Cheryl - I'm not taking the Paris class right now, but I took it the first 2 times Laure offered it, starting last September. Those first 2 Paris offerings were bigger/longer - 8 weeks x 3 assignments / week = 24 assignments; whereas now they are 6 weeks x 2 assignments / week = 12. That is why it might seem that I have a lot of Paris images -- just 2 class sessions with more assignments. But... the 6 week / 12 assignment classes are less stressful too.
All in all - I just love taking Laure's classes!! I'm looking forward to the newly announced journaling classes!!
So you really took the Paris class twice. Were different things taught each time? I knew she had changed the format of the classes. 3 assignments a week would be a lot!
I love her classes too - and I'm glad to hear you're looking forward to the journaling classes - so am I. I'll "see" you there!
